NEW FEATURE: A “Price is Negotiable” option!

Alright everyone, I worked long and hard to get this feature working. Its not even that important, or even the most useful feature….. but I think its cool!

Dont Forget to “Mark Sold” all items that have sold.

    Tip    June 10, 2013

Don’t forget to mark your items as sold! This will help others to not waste their time contacting you and save you the hassle of having to tell them it is sold.

Some people like to delete posts after they sell, but you really should mark them as sold so they can stay up until they expire to help build your reputation. Just a suggestion ūüėČ !

I’ve covered how to do it in a previous post called¬†HOW TO: Edit your existing ads, mark as SOLD, etc.

New Resources Page!

    New Feature    May 28, 2013

We just added a “Resources” page to the site!

Here is a link:  Resources 

Right now we have up Utah Bill of Sale forms for Automobiles and Firearms. We just added a Utah Rental Applications and Residential Lease forms. We strongly encourage you to use these forms when buying, selling or renting in a private transaction. It is a good idea to keep these records.

What other resources do you think this page needs? If you can think of any for us to consider, contact us!

For maximum exposure for your Ad, view it after you post it, and click the”Share/Save” button at the bottom of your¬†description¬†to share your ad posting on all your favorite social media sites! Also help your friends or good causes out by sharing their ads as well. Just¬†view¬†their ad and do the same thing!

iPhone Users: PLEASE READ!

So, if you¬†didn’t¬†already know, Flash and Apple Mobile products¬†don’t¬†go hand in hand. We have enabled the Flash photo uploader so that our users can upload big files(up to 5MB) and not get a browser time out. This fix is awesome, and really adds value and functionality to the site!¬†

We still love you iPhone users so we came up with a simple solution to allow you guys to still post ads to the blog shop from your phone!

FIXED: Error when posting ad (due to file upload)

OK, so we had the flash file uploader disabled to¬†accommodate¬†iPhone users, but because of this, some people’s internet/browsers would time out when trying to upload multiple large photos all at once.¬†

The flash uploader, which is now enabled, will upload each photo you select, one at a time. I ran a bunch of tests uploading five 5MB photos to one ad listing, and it worked flawless! Everyone that was having issues, give it a try and report back.¬† Continue reading …

TIP: Price for multiple item posts (Price Range)

If the ad you are posting has a “Price Range” then you will want to put the lowest price in the price box then you can describe the different products and prices in the description. ūüôā
